Prompt 1: Sinking
Description: Starlight’s head sinking into his pillow.

The rhythmic dripping of the ceiling into the bucket below was practically the only sound Starlight could hear as he pushed open his front door.
It was quiet... but that shouldn’t have come as a surprise, it was always quiet. Quiet was normal for this place and yet this time... he felt as if there was something missing.

He hadn’t quite felt this way since... well... since Aaron moved out. He’d spent so long isolating himself that he’d almost forgotten how nice it was to see other wyngrew. Perhaps, he’d figure something out in the morning? For now he was exhausted, practically every inch of his body ached from flying all across town during the frantic search for Wenn.

With a long yawn that brought a couple tears to the corners of his eyes, he stumbled into his bedroom - quickly getting undressed and slipping into his pyjamas. While his duvet was pretty thick and cozy, his over-sensitivity to the cold lead to full body pyjamas being a necessity even during the summer months and they proved their worth time and time again around this time of year.

Practically collapsing into his bed, he crawled under the covers and allowed his head to sink deep into his pillow. Given how busy he’d been it was a surprise to nobody that he nigh instantly fell into a deep sleep.

Sleeping on his wings might not be the best option but he’s too tired to care.
