Description
After Singe's little pep talk both Singe and Margarite took their leave, leaving Bubble and Mako to wander around the carnival by themselves. With Mako's new goal and boast of confidence, he was much more interactive with the games and events they shared.

Game Merchant: And it looks like we have a winner!

Bubble: *claps and cheers* Hey! You did it!

Mako: *chuckles and shrugs* It wasn't too hard. I use to play darts at the bar to kill some time. Though I'm use to them being made out of actually metal and not this chintzy plastic.

Game Merchant: And here is your prize *with a smirk, he hands Mako a small orca plushie*

Mako: *eye twitch* ... Thanks.

Game Merchant: If you want to try your luck at winning your lady friend a larger prize, it's only 5 more bits. *holds out his hand*

Bubble: *before Mako could respond, she wraps her arm around on of his* No, but thank you! *as she starts to drag Mako away*

Mako: *smirks* You know I could have won you something bigger. *as he hands it to her, it squeaks*

Bubble: *puts her hand over her mouth and giggles* But I like this one! *giving it another squeak* Hehehe! Thank you~

Mako: *growl/purrs happily* Glad you like it. So what do you want to do next.

Bubble: *pauses and thinks* Mmm, well I guess we can go on some more rides--

*Clock chiming in the distance*

Bubble: *ears perked as she turned and looked at a nearby clock* OH! I had almost forgot!

Mako: *tilts head* What's wrong? *looks around, seeing that people were starting to gather*

Bubble: *looks up at him with a big smile on her face* Come with me! I need to show you something. *takes his hand and starts leading him through and away from the crowd*

Mako: *smiles and gives her hand a slight squeeze while continuing to look around at the crowd, curious as to what is going on*

The two of them would slowly push through the sea of ponies, making there way out of the carnival. They walked down the beach for a ways, hand in hand. After a bit, Bubble stopped and looked back in the direction of the carnival.

Bubble: This should be good enough. *she sits in the sand, beckoning Mako to join her*

Mako: So what is this all about? *sits next to her*

Bubble: You'll see soon enough. *smiling sweetly at him*

Mako: *smirks and looks out into the sea, curling his tail behind her*

Bubble: *blushes, feeling their tails touching* ..... Sorry about earlier, on the ferris wheel. I hope it didn't make you feel uncomfortable...

Mako: It's alright. It didn't really bother me. *lays his hand on hers*

Bubble: I'm glad. *she leaned against him, brushing her arm against his* I had a good time today. Thank you~

Mako: *blushes and nuzzles her ear with his muzzle, whispering* I had fun too.

Bubble: *shivers softly and blushes brightly, her ear twitching against his face* ....

Mako: *smiles and looks back out at the ocean again* Sooooo, what's going on again?

Bubble: *chuckles, pushing her hair out of her eyes* You'll see soon enough! This is my favorite part of the carnival.

Mako: *quirks an eyebrow and looks at her* What do you--

There would be a hiss off in the distance followed by a loud BANG! The night sky would be filled with color and light. One right after another, fireworks would shoot from the end of the dock and cover the sky with a spectacular light show.
Mako: !!! *jumps at the loud noise and look up at the sky in awe* Wow! That's... Wow!

Bubble: *chuckles and rubs his arm gently* They always have some of the best fireworks, but it's better to watch them from a distance. *smiles, watching his face before turning her attention to the firework show*

They would continue to observe the show, their fingers slowly interlacing. After a bit Mako turned to look at Bubble, watching how the different colors and lights reflected on her face.

Mako: *leans in and nuzzles his nose against her cheek* Bubble~

Bubble: !!! *turning her face towards him, her lips opening to say something, but she was speechless* ....

Mako: *cups her face gently and kisses her, a soft growl coming from his throat, resembling a purr*

Bubble: !! *blushes deep red, her heart racing fast before closing her eyes, kissing him back*

The firework finale would go off, and slowly fizzle. Cheering and applause could be heard from the docks, signaling that it had ended. Hearing the fireworks finish, they would slowly pull away, looking sweetly into each others eyes. Mako gently wrapped a arm around Bubble's waist, bringing her in close. Time would pass as they gave sweet nuzzles and kisses.

Soon the water would rise a bit, a gentle wave wadding over his paws and her hooves.

Bubble: *curling her legs up away from the cold water, looking at Mako and smiling* We should probably move.

Mako: *chuckles as he sat up* Good idea. *ears perking, he looked out into the ocean.* Hmmm.. Actually, there's something I want to show you.

Bubble: Okay? * start to stand, brushing the sand off her skirt*

Mako: *getting up, he shakes the water and sand off his paws. He gently takes Bubble's hand in his own, leading the way* You are going to love it.
