Sometimes it makes me itchy and burny.

lolzwaitwhat In reply to AskEdTheGreat [2013-10-03 23:55:03 +0000 UTC]

I've had something like that too, it could mean that you're allergic to something in the soap, try bathing in water and oatmeal, it'll make it less itchy.

yeah, you can also take mud baths, those can be good for your skin too.

AskEdTheGreat In reply to lolzwaitwhat [2013-10-06 07:21:53 +0000 UTC]

Buy some bubble bath soap/Body wash! Scrub yourself GOOD!

lolzwaitwhat In reply to AskEdTheGreat [2013-10-06 20:06:57 +0000 UTC]

you don't really get clean per say, you still have to wash the mud off afterwards, but the stuff in the mud is supposed to be good for your skin.

Hmm maybe your just alergic to the kind of soap you use. with the many alergys you have to rabbits, and butterscotch pudding i'm not suprised you're alergic.

AskEdTheGreat In reply to Lazyrichu [2013-05-31 21:29:31 +0000 UTC]

Ed could be allergic to soap? Maybe that is why it burns...

AskEddTheAstute [2013-05-25 14:44:07 +0000 UTC]

"Oh Ed...."

*smiles kindly*

"Soap isn't burning you. No, what it is actually doing is burning away the bacteria that would ACTUALLY hurt you. The mean virus enemies that make you fall ill in all things you do. No Ed, soap is a friend in disguise! It just wants to make sure nothing can stop you in the face of your adventures!"

*Trying to play up his over active imagination*

AskEdTheGreat In reply to AskEddTheAstute [2013-05-26 10:16:28 +0000 UTC]

*blinks* Really Double D? Then how come it burns me when it gets in my eyes?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AskEddTheAstute In reply to AskEdTheGreat [2013-05-26 17:10:06 +0000 UTC]

"Your eyes are the ONLY place not meant for soap. They say on the bottles that you really shouldn't put soap in your eyes.
Your eyes aren't designed like your skin. That's why you have to close your eyes and lean your head back. There is your eyelids - yet another layer of skin - that can protect there.
If that isn't secure enough, you could always close your eyes and put a small towel over that just in case.
And if you ever do get soap in your eyes by mistake, which everyone does here and there, then it's good to close your eyes and put pressure on your eyes with a towel. It helps dull it and go away faster.
But honestly over all soap is just meant for your benefit. It won't hurt your over all body. But the soap does ask you on it's shipping container not to put it in your eyes."

*He starts tapping into the imagination again*

"Soap cares. It doesn't want to hurt you. That's why it warns you. But usually it's been taken out of the box by then. At that point it hopes someone has warned you. Clearly someone didn't..."
