Mine was lazy too, but she loved her cage and the food. So I used those factors to train her : First, I "trained" (she did it naturally) her to run from one point to her cage. Then, I put small obstacles on this way, and step by step I augmented the height and the wide... Really easy
But be careful with the soil texture (too rigid, too slack or too slippery could be dangerous). Outside I trained her on the dirt and inside on the carpet

You can use cardboard paper towel roll to make horizontal bar and toilet paper for vertical ones. it's light, convenient and easy to manufacture
