If x = 1, ....

then the equation would be likes this:

1/2 +1/2(1/2 + 1/2(1/2 +1/2(1/2 + ... = y

1/2 +1/4 + 1/8 + 1/16 + 1/32 + ... = y

y = 1 = x

then that means that y = x ..... *writes down the answer*
