((I don't know if you guys remember, but Queen-Asante / AsktheSonofaShepherd used to have a YouTube channel where she would cover some songs and sing original ones.
She did a pretty good Rolf singing voice too.
She reminded me of Cyndi Lauper, and maybe a mixture of Idina Menzel and Nicole Dollanganger but better. She was really good! I'd link you to one of her videos, but unfortunately she hid her channel.

It's shown in the Boomerang episode that Rolf's repressed personality is an opera singer, so maybe he secretly aspires to be a performer. He really likes music and he plays the accordion really well. Unfortunately, he suffers from terrible stage fright as seen in ''Too Smart For Your Own Ed''. Also, when he auditioned for Eddy's telethon he was turned away due to his thick accent, and I think that holds him back a lot.
But I think if Nazz did start a band, she wouldn't care about his accent and ask him to sing, in which he might overcome his initial insecurity.

Amazing idea for a band! You guys would rock the whole Peach Creek Junior High... I have an idea. You guys could make an incredible rally song to raise the morale of Peach Creek Cobblers and finally beat Lemon Brook Lumpers! Check out the amazing song sung by Rainbow Dash during Friendship Games. And Rolf is wonderful singer (There are so many things to discover about Rolf)

I think it would totally get everyone into the school spirit~ I should submit that suggestion to the school board! I bet they'd love it.

Indeed. I do wonder how other kids would react to Friendship Games event (you would need 12 kids in your team to create a team - so everyone from Cul-de-Sac and maybe I dunno... the Kankers?) - Friendship Games would be a really good chance for two schools get along together in a friendly sporting competition but Lemon Brook Lumpers are... let's just say it straight - they are really competitive kids. As for the events - you could have chemistry, home economics, woodshop, spelling bee and at end of first event: solving a complex mathematical equation. The second event could be like: archery, speed skating, American football, tennis and golf
That's true - I need to finally overcome my shyness and do what I like to do - and people can think whatever they want

I guess I could try and convince the Kankers to join us but I doubt they would. They always boo us at the games. Like, who's side are they on anyway, am I right?
It all sounds like fun though! Maybe we can ask some of the new kids to join like Andy and Alex and Ivana and Annabelle.

I guess you are right. I think it is not very nice of them to laugh at you during any game – I mean they just came to laugh at you? Even when they go to the same school with you and they supposed to cheer for Peach Cobblers.
And I saw that they were a little more enthusiastic for Peach Cobblers after Ed has become the team’s mascot. They were a little impressed by that – especially May. XD
But if the Kankers would not want to participate in Friendship Games I am sure other kids would. Ask them. And I am sure they will agree (I assume they are really nice because I have never met them)

Yeah, those girls have such a thing for the Eds, it's kinda... creepy. I mean, cuz they're not, like, in love with them, it's more like obsession.
If they truly honestly cared for those boys, it wouldn't be weird, but I dunno... they just freak them out. It's not cool, y'know? Like, I wouldn't hurt someone I love.
They need to learn to give them space.... and back off a little.
In all fairness though, Ed did look pretty cute in that mascot costume.

Obsession is like the worst thing. Being obsessed with one thing is like... so wrong.
The Kankers really need to slow down and change their way of thinking. You can't just force someone to love you! And those are very wise words Nazz. You are like Princess Cadance from My Little Pony. The Princess of Love and the element of love
Yeah! Ed is an awesome mascot. And he totally raises the morale of your team! That was super-duper idea Nazz to promote him to be a team's mascot. ^_^

I'm glad Ed's agreed to stay on as mascot for the remainder of the school year. Can't really find anyone who has much fun as he does. Plus he's the only guy who can actually fit into the costume. ^^

I had to get rid of the songs because a lot of them were just so old and... I hate looking back. I'd like to start fresh, if I ever decided to use my YT channel again, but I most likely won't.

As far as the Boomerang personality goes, I'm so glad you're one of the fans who supports the theory that it's a repressed trait, rather than opposite.
Although, to be frank, secretly longing to be something and repressing something are two different things, but I like your theory!))

Yay I'm not the only one! I just don't get how an opera singer is ''opposite'' of Rolf, lol, it makes no sense. But he's shown to have musical talent so repressed tendencies makes more sense to me. XD
Anyway if they were going for opposite personalities, Rolf would have been the opposite of a country boy, which is a stereotypical city boy and ''cultured'' and ''educated''. An opera singer is not the polar opposite of an immigrant farm boy~
The Boomerang personalities weren't so literal-- they were comically exaggerated symbolic representations of what they're repressing.
Also, in that case, Edd's ''opposite'' personality would have been dumb, but he's obviously repressing a carefree desire to let loose and have moral disregard for rules, coming from an uptight upbringing.
Ed is shown to be smart sometimes. His ''opposite'' personality would have been someone who obsesses over cleanliness as opposed to the unwashed maniac he is now.
And Eddy often wears a mask, but deep down, he's more sensitive than he lets on. His ''opposite'' personality would have been someone who's well liked and popular, or maybe shy and quiet. So that's why I don't think they're opposite.
And we all know Jimmy aspires to be super strong like Kevin-- and deep down, he actually has such strength, as witnessed in ''A Fistful of Ed'' where he beats the living crap out of Edd-- although it prolly wasn't a fair fight given how physically weak Edd actually is, and how he wasn't prepared to fight back, but still.
So yeah that's my take on it.
