HERE IT IS! FINALLY FINISHED. It's Red Lotus, the beautiful amazon from the worst video game ever, Deathtrap Dungeon lmao. I didn't really like her original in-game model so I based this version of Red Lotus around Kelly Brook's amazing cosplay of her from 2008!

Great pic! Is that video game based on the Fighting Fantasy book? If so, that book is AWESOME, one of the best gamebooks ever.

I saw a Twitter post by Ian Livingstone the other day ... he's the guy who wrote the original book. He was shaking his head at the Japanese version of the book which has got on the cover an anime girl in thigh boots, rather than Ian McCaig's amazing illustration of the Bloodbeast and its hundred eyes sat in a steaming pool of boiling blood
The book's well worth hunting down, it's really good. Definitely one of the best of the FF gamebooks, along with City Of Thieves, Sword Of The Samurai and Talisman Of Death. I did a pic of a one-eyed barbarian recently and I used one of the competitors from Deathtrap Dungeon as a big reference.

That's interesting! I wouldn't now any of that, aside from the terrible Resident Evil novels by S.D Perry. But thanks for the information! I actually didn't like the original in-game model for Red Lotus and wasn't going to draw her originally until I found a decent cosplay and just went with that. If they ever remake it (they won't, I'm positive) they should try using a better model for the character lol.

In the original book, there's no Red Lotus. There's a group of adventurers including the main player, two barbarians, an elf woman, a ninja and ... some other guys I've forgotten!
