I actually got a great idea for a Jana of the Jungle reboot.  During said intro, it is implied that Jana remembers her life before she was trapped in the jungle.  So the first few episodes would start us off with typical plots from the original 13 episode series, however, there are hints of moral grayness. However, at some point, an Uncle and/or Aunt of her's visits this fictional African country and actually recognizes Jana (who has been turned into a minor tourist attraction).  Jana decides to go back home, but while the comforts of modern technology are certainly to her liking, she finds she is no longer acclimated to the modern world.  She thus decides to return to her jungle home.  Once there, Motaro informs her that a major corporation is trying to build a factory in the forest (which would have happened with or without Jana's absence).  Jana is conflicted, for while she has many animal friends who would die, she also realizes that the local people could see their quality of life improve with the factory.  Unfortunately, I really don't know how to resolve this conflict.

What do you think of my idea?
