Description
I for some reason bought a white-out pen during my time in Hong Kong, and I was supposed to use it for fixing mistakes on my drawings, by removing black, but I never really needed to do that. Instead, I remembered and got some or my old targets from my days in competitive shooting, the targets are made from recycled paper, and due to them not being bleached, they retain the brownish color similar to cardboard, the color creates a great mid-toneΒ shade and I kind of wanted to draw with this mid-toneΒ shade again, as A LOT of my earlier pieces were drawn with a mid-tone background. This is just a test drawing, and if I am to do this, I would use a different type of paper, as these targets are made to be shot at, not drawn on, also the paper is far to fibery and soft making marks very noticeably.

Yah mid-tone is a great medium to draw, as you have the ability to use white, which in my opinion is a very good color in use as it really sticks out!
Though the issue with this is that I draw very small and the whiteout is much harder to control
