all you art is absolutely mind-blowing.
Is there any chance you'd let me feature any of your surrealistic steampunk pieces in a magazine I'm doing for my graphic design class?

thanks so much! sorry i've fallen behind in my responses... if it's not too late, please give me a little more information about what you'd like to do-- but it sounds like something i'd be happy to do.

Hi again. I'm so glad you replied, I've fallen behind with work as well, I know what's it's like.
Basically, we're supposed to design an editorial piece, a cross between a book and a magazine, and we pick an artistic movement (obviously, I chose Surrealism) to write the magazine about.
The catch is the style of the piece has to be related to the movement.
Basically, I wanted to feature some of your works in the neo-surrealism category, show how the movement has evolved and it still exists today and how it subject matter compares to the artists original work.

I know it's a bit of a gamble, but it's an university project, not to be published or anything, and I'd obviously give you full credit for which ever pieces you'd let me show.

So get back to me when you have a chance, and thank you already for the response.

i'd be glad to help out. the only thing i'd ask in return is a copy (hard or e-mailed) of your end product.

actually, i have been interested in surrealist theory ever since i was in college (a very long time ago ). my work is- because of my preferred medium- very much in the line of ernst's collages: utilizing the work of other artists to create an entirely new image. i also take ernst as a master in his use of free-standing images in the service of an overlying narrative.

let me know how it progresses, & note me if you need anything more.

I'd be more than glad to do that! Ernst is one of the many artist I try to briefly explore in the piece, so I'll be sure to mention him as your inspiration.

As for something else, not really! Just knowing I could use your work is amazing. If I could have at least one of your pieces without a watermark, it'd be even better, I've got a full page that requires something very eye-catching for a closing note, so I'd love to use one of your paintings.

If you need further info on my project or myself (to now I'm real and it won't be for profit) I'll link you to anything, from my profile to my college.

And once again, thank you. I feel very honoured.

This is awesome, all the eerie atmosphere and yet the underwater room adds that fab turqoise shade, great contrast to the darkness around it. I love the mystery of this series, I can see them in a gallery hanging in osome kind of order in long rows in between dark rooms like a story you want to follow and discover each piece in

ahhh... thanks
i wish i could find a gallery that would show these pieces. in my area, because i do digital work now, i'm not considered a "true artist" anymore. i used to be able to get a gallery show every couple of years, but no more...

Oh I know what you mean with the stigma around "true" artist. People seems to think just becasue it's digital it has been made with no effort or no skill, which is absurd!! I would go as far to say that making digital art can be a step HARDER than traditional media and I just hope this stigma around it will disappear soon. Maybe all of us digital artists needs to start our own galleries to show people just how amazing art we can do

And for the record, I would LOVE to see you art in a gallery!!

Underwater scenes are hands down some of the most difficult things to create. You did really well getting the colors right...I had to think a minute there to remember whether or not I was underwater when I took the photo.. 0.o
