Description Georgette from Disney's Oliver & Company

Don't ask WHY I drew her, I just happened to have found a picture of a standard-sized poodle and I was like "hey, a realistic-looking Georgette" and poof! This picture came to be.

Yeah, I wonder why my brain works that way too...

Yet now that I've had a sudden fascination with the show "Dogs 101" I came to learn poodles are one of the highest ranking dogs when it comes to intelligence. Shame, they're one of those 'stereotypical' dogs like Great Danes and Pitbulls...

Basically, this is a follow-up with my Clopin pic with the digital background, I also painted in the collars and the bows (plus the cartoon version's eye make-up) in Photoshop CS4. I swear, this dog wears more make-up than me.

In a sense, I do adore her. Georgette's intro song about her vanity just cracks me up and the little blue birds were a nice touch (now that I'm looking at it from an artistic POV.) I'm enjoying how I'm jogging a lot of my classmates childhood memories while I'm sketching these in the middle of class lol

Georgette (c) Disney

Items used: Ballpoint pen, mechanical pencil, Photoshop CS4

Oh, btw, did you know this movie was based on Charles Dickens "Oliver Twist"? Plus Billy Joel plays the voice for Dodger...you probably do, but I had NO IDEA, I was like WTF over the credits. I also just recently learned you can see Belle from Beauty and the Beast walking around the common in the Hunchback of Notre Dame while her "nose is stuck in a book." Another Disney fanatic, like myself, told me this morning in class.
