Her fur is of medium-length (leaning towards the long side), thus giving her fur a fluffy texture. She also has a long and bushy tail.

History:

Parents: Moonshade is a young, elegant she-cat and a warrior of WaveClan. Adventurous and carefree, she often wanders away from camp to the unexplored expanses of her clan's territory. On one of these expeditions she met a handsome BasaltClan tom, Ravenmask. She was wary of him at first, given the reputations of BasaltClan toms, but eventually she saw past the prejudice and find him different and unique. She fell in love with him, and him with her. They would often sneak out of camp to meet up in WaveClan's jungle, where no cat would find them. After Moonshade told Ravenmask that she was pregnant with his kits, Ravenmask made an important descision- he would run away from his clan and join WaveClan, so that he could always be with her.
"You are the first cat who taught me how to love for real."

Kit: Opalkit is quite close to her mother. Being her only kit, she was a glistening opal in her eyes. Ravenmask loves his mate and daughter deeply, he didn't mind Opalkit following him around and playing with his tail. She was born with two brothers, Cloudkit and Maskkit, but they succumbed to a deadly bought of greencough. Opalkit was the only kit that survived, she was quarantined before the disease could hit her badly. Her parents were heart-broken. As a kit, Opalkit loved hearing stories about the massive jungle in WaveClan territory. She would often ask her mother questions, who would affectionately tell her she's not old enough to go there yet. She always wanders around camp and poking her tiny nose into things. When Opalkit was a moon old, a queen named Hibiscuslight gave birth to a dark-furred she-kit by the name Ebonykit . The two both had an adventurous nature, and became fast friends. When Ebonykit was old enough, they would often explore the island together. At three-moons old, Opalkit's mother would take her to the sandy shores on the island, and Opalkit would run and splash around in the shallows. This is where she discovered her love of running. Although she's not shown much interest in swimming, she loves the water, and would spend her free time splashing around the shore.

Apprentice: Opalfin was apprenticed to her clan leader, a lean, smoky grey she-cat by the name Brisktide . She has always admired her leader and was delighted to become her apprentice. She tries her best to do what she's told. The first few days of apprenticeship was exciting. Opalfin was shown around the island, and Brisktide even took her to the edge of the jungle! Opalfin begged her to take her into the jungle, but was refused. She then got to know some of the other clan's territories, and Opalfin was immediately fascinated with GeyserClan's vast moors. She also learned to hunt and fight. Opalfin is agile, so she performed better in hunting seagulls than in fish. Opalfin is not a strong cat, but she is nimble and swift. She has the tendency to dodge rather than attack, missing out on opportunities to strike. Her mentor suggested her battle tactic to be wearing down her foe's strength then striking back. She trained with a fellow apprentice, a ginger she-cat who was older and stronger than her. Her name is Redfin . Opalfin admired her maturity and intelligence. She would look up to her as her role model. One day, Opalfin was told to clean out the elder's den. Her previous days had been so exciting, Opalfin felt disappointed and angered. So, instead of doing as she was told, she snuck out of camp and went into the jungle to explore. It wasn't long before she was found by a border patrol, and was taken back to camp. Of course, she was in trouble and was forced to clean the elders' den and search their pelts for ticks for two consecutive days. Opalfin, though saddened by the punishment, had her fair share of jungle sights and spent her punishment listening to the elders about stories of the jungle.

Pushing herself through a bush, Opalfin emerged out into the open, snagging a few leaves on her fur on the way. "This is so boring... if only I could do something fun..." she mumbled, reminiscing her first day as an apprentice when her mentor took her on a tour of WaveClan territory. The've visited the edge of the jungle, and it was so magnificent, with its layering canopies, thick undergrowth and distant bird cries made the jungle alive. At first sight, Opalfin was captivated. The forest looked so inviting, and so untouched...
Opalfin's front paw snagged onto a tree root in the middle of her daydream. Her legs buckled underneath her, and she let out a startled cry. She landed face-first onto the forest floor, knocking her back into the present. Opalfin looked around. 'No one is watching anyway...' She thought to herself, 'this is my chance to go see the jungle!' And with that, She took off in the direction of the main island, kicking up fallen leaves and dirt behind her paws, the wind rushing past her face. "The best day of my life awaits!' She thought to herself excitedly.
