Sooo one of my teachers at school was having a tough time at the moment, (my art teacher in fact), so my caring friend decided we should make and sign a card for her on behalf of the class. I was nominated to do the art for it of course
She loves fur babies and flowers so that's what I drew She's going to receive it tomorrow, fingers crossed..

Overall I'm pretty happy with the result! I knew it would be a disaster using felt-tips to colour as they were way too bright and tended to bleed into each other, (used a tad of green to bring out the leaves howeves), so I used watercolour pencils, even though I don't have a lot of experience with them, to give a soft vibe. I remember I used to hate this medium last year when I first tried em, but now I really enjoy the process of using them a lot!
I love to fall back to working traditionally, it's pretty natural and comforting for me from doing it frequently before starting digital.
