Wow, I love your rendering of vegetation!
If I really had to be critical about something (as you say "advanced critique encouraged"), I'd say you shouldn't have put those marks suggesting the movement around their heads and legs. I think that's good for comics, not for single piece of artwork in realistic style. But that's just my opinion.
I like the lighting too!
