Daily something number 399January 24th, 2018
This was my Midterm Test project with the theme "Utopian Architecture" / "Utopian Vision"
Done with colored pencils and watercolor. Much original, so special, wow.
I got a nine out of ten - 50% from this, 40% from my research and prep and 10% from my essay (message me if you want that stuff I guess, but it's really nothing exciting XD )
Best grade out of a six person class full of high grades, no idea how I did that I did the prep and Essay the night before when I had a week, and spent the first half an hour just hating myself but hella proud!
My favorite part is the jellyfish I added in last minute to "make it a collage"
I would have added more sea life if I had time and adequate magazines, buuuuuut I had neither of those.
And that lone jellyfish is very much my type of humor

Ok, at the risk of being called crazy (though Iβm pretty much immune to that because of a long life of being told by those around me I think of a lot of things differently...):
i really love this composition. It is sunny and radiant but also radiantly serene at the same time.
(now for the crazy part)
I really also see in this a bunch of maidens(?) all dancing together (to be making everything to work in harmony). The central foreground figure, I really canβt even unsee her hair and outstretched arms and the garb of machina... The others too some.
It really is an amazing piece. Love it!
(ok, back to normal(?))

And I love seeing those "random" connections I didn't make being made by others, I think a part of what makes art so neat is that it welcomes those
I remember watching the ballett Giselle and all the dancing ghost girls reminded me of cream on a cake XD
I mean this may be me reading into it (which I have to to get a good grade), but I tried to make this organic and free and happy, so you seeing a dance kinda tells me I succeeded?
