Description
Picture taken at a small pond near where I live. The froggers there are not accustomed to people with cameras, I spent quite some time in the heat for some decent pictures of them and only THIS one seemed original enough to post.Related content

Very brave, I'm frog-phobic! Nice shot, great focus on the frog, its colours are beautiful, it's a much lighter green than the frogs in Enlgand

Lol I know quite a few people who find frogs and toads disgusting.
The frogs here are different shades too, this is the most vibrant green one I have seen so far.
Thanks for the comment.

The noise is just the computer/camera trying to deal with all the minute particulate in the water. A filter can help alot, otherwise you just have to use insane resoltion so all that pond gunk is bigger then a single pixel. Shading the shot also can work, but you would have lost the some of the fantastic color/contrast on the frog, and probably the underwater parts of the frog as well. It can also be really hard to shade an animal that really has no interest in sitting still so you can take a picture of it. Although you did get it to look at the camera, so maybe you can get it to float into the shade as well. The frog came out fantasticaly sharp and clear, color is great, it is a good frog. I like it.
I feel like I am following you around the web.
German frogs look weird.

Yeah, it was a little hard since the frog was more like in the middle of the pond so I had to crop the picture quite a bit, plus the water + sun played some silly tricks on the camera, this is a picture with only few reflections. Yeah, as I said in the other comment, I NEED some nice accessories for my camera, thanks for confirming that.
German frogs look weird? Never noticed that but then again I only know German ones.

Yeah the cam probably didn't know what to do with the water, I may need to finally buy a filter adapter and some decent filters.
