As soon as I saw the thumbnail I knew it was called Addiction. Great work, fntastic,

This is my second favourite out of what I've seen so far (My favourite being the soldier one). It certainly shows addiction, it's beautifully done, grainy, a bit absurd but still makes so much sense. It's sad and it's controversial. This is real art. It's thought provoking and I bet each person'll interpret it in a different way.

I love your work, its so original and moody. What kind of techniqes do you use? are these digital paintings or actual photomanipulations?
keep it up bro.

The first thing really striking the eye is the figure, the needles, it's expression if in agony, and of course, the "hole". First of all, I love the whole. You have not elaborated on the symbolism of the image, but my interpretation would be that the huge mouth with macabre teeth is the exact opposite of free will or freedom of substance, yet the most extereme manifestation of it (not per sΓ© a positive feat). The inside of the body eaten away by almost every type of drug known to man since 1544 AD, at least, that is how it looks. Only hands, arms, remnants of it holding it all together, but nothing else. No magical power of life rests on it, only a savage urge to only one thing.
THe noisyness and grungyness of the environment, I would figure, stand for both the mindset of the addicted and the mindset of people on them, as well as the possible habitat of such a figure. I love the image because it is powerful, but you can also explain it in your words and symbolism. It's color and composition is very strong. Great work.

beautiful....so many different elements & emotions involved in the subject and you illustrated so many of them in a lovely manner with such impact.....it's great to look at a work of art and feel that kind of emotional connection.....instead of it just being something "pretty to look at"

oh yes, and i'd like to apply that comment to some of your other pieces.....in particular the 'schizophrenia' piece.......
though i don't believe i fall too close to being that particular kind of nut-case....any display or representation of that nature really tends to hit hard and maybe strikes somekind of deep and for the most part hidden (repressed with extreme severity?) chord within me.......
anyway, i relize this isn't the psychiatric care unit so i'll discontinue.......

Your ideas are fabulous, they keep pulling through. Again, no exception - conceptually and technically this is spot on. consider me a fan.

That is great--I could hear a scream when I looked at the mouth.

This is excellent. All mouth, trying to take more and more in, a big empty inside, trying to fill up that emptiness, but it's like trying to bail out a sinking boat. Lots of pain. Really great work.

Great work. I'm always amazed how you get the dark textured feel to the walls.

wow... this one I relate to the least, but I really love the best so far. Just because there are so many things to interpret. The head being a giant gaping mouth is like a symbol for consumption? and the empty chest cavity and the cradling of the pills and such. It's just wow.
