those dark portals in the background make me think of suspended doorways.
that's indeed interesting unto itself.
the fact that this represents a throne is reminscent of the throne that
spawn created for himself in the desolate alleys of the homeless.

the coloration is wonderful. and of course the details are absolutely magnificent, as usual. the whispy smoke coming from the bottom really adds to it.
