Illustration based on the book "Tailchaser's Song" by Tad Williams. i will be working on these for a while i think.this is Fritti Tailchaser and little Poucequick, gathering at the meeting wall, where Fritti is a bit more concerned with trying to find his fela friend Hushpad.
i'm quite happy with Tailchaser's stripes and with Pounce's shading, but i got lazy with the background and i don't like the generic grass brush, but ehh oh well. i need more practice with backgrounds, this one wasn't exciting.

I'm pretty sure Pouncequick is white, because it shows him on the cover and he's described as being "pale".
Oh well, it's still an awesome picture. Pouncie's so adorable. :3 And I love Fritti's pose.

I just have a way of imagining things before they're described xD I do that a lot in Warriors, most of the characters in there look different than the way I imagine them.
