Everyone seems to think you are sad, but I can't help feeling this is a little experiment you are doing to see how you we will react. Like drawing us in with mystery with each piece, maybe to reveal something big at the end? The faded titles also makes me think you are trying to make us curious. But the shading and wet look are really amazing~

How grim. Her wings are soaked, and she can just manage to keep herself from drowning, As something below tries to bring her to an early demise. If only she could find a way to release herself from those chains. Amazing how relateable this is for me.

This series of images has me intrigued. It's mysterious and disturbing, and the images are so sad and beautiful. They invoke feelings of cold, wet, despair, hopelessness. The feeling of completely losing your energy and will to fight.
And, I mean, the water effects are just gorgeous. I'm really excited to see where this goes.

All I know is that the three so far seem to be connected as part of a scene
And I really want to know what is going on in that scene
in all three so far it's raining and greyscale,
and the title is the date it's posted, and the view is a headshot
Applejack is laying on the floor crying
Rarity is blindfolded, perhaps blinded, and has bandaged legs and is also crying
Rainbow here is chained down in a puddle or pond, and in danger of drowning
looks pretty grim
and we don't know what condition Fluttershy, Twilight, and Pinkie are in.
there is a fluttershy but it's in colour and the water is pouring, not raining
and it has an actual title, and it shows fluttershy standing with a larger field of view
which hints that it's an entirely different scene,
though the two scenes could be connected somehow.

The current mood that you bring with these portraits do actually outstand from your work, where you are used to portray epic, and also warm-hearted, kind moments from the MLP franchise... You don't need to put the complete shot of the situation to get us in the blue zone with this piece and also the previous ones.

Sadness is a natural part of being human and self-expression is healthy. Comments like this are well-meaning but they aren't very productive and only encourage an artist to bottle up negative feelings. Unless you're trying to determine whether he needs therapy so you can buy it for him. Your art's pretty good, by the way.
