Quick little relax piece.Trying to recover a bit older style, again, from a piece I made about a year ago: Steadfast Apple
I've actually used that piece as a reference point quite a few times before, but now I tried to get fairly close in more aspects, but also not too close hehe. A rougher brushstyle. Works great with motion I think.
Just about all the shading was done on a single layer, so the WIP has quite a sudden step. Then I played around with post process stuff as usual.
Also, Applejack of course.

Although the dull colors in the older one does give it a sense of bleak almost hopeless struggle
