Description
Been feeling pretty bleh these days. AJ understands me.Started out as an example for someone. Then I painted away and this happened.
I gotta do more paintings without sketching first. It's so freeing to just get in the colors and sculpt the form as you go.
I love using dark red browns for shadows for some reason. It's so early renaissance and makes everything warm.

Can empathize with bleh. First I get angry, then I get tired of being angry, then I realize the stuff that makes me angry doesn't go away, then I feel bleh.
Coloring without a sketch is like a more natural, evolving way of sketching. Closer to sculpting maybe. I rarely paint, but that's how I would prefer it, too. It makes a painting much more potent as a learning process than trying to get a sketch right and then color that.
And in digital, one can paint over endlessly without a problem.
