Episode art as promised! Bulk Biceps was such an awesome addition to the episode haha. Heck, a lot of things were.Rainbows, rainbows everywhere! I wanted to do this environment when I saw it, the location is pretty awesome, located on those plateau, buildings scattered across the mountains.
Nice and all, but oh my did it give me problems getting this started as you can see in the WIP. Environments and architecture and this in general needs some practice. Still not entirely happy with it, but a lot more happy than when I started.
So many colours though...
Eventually included Bulk, wanted to put a bit of pony in it as well, directly hinting to the episode, since the buildings might not have been enough.

I've been having a lot of fun pushing saturation while keeping it comfortable. The rainbows were a nice change to that with all their colours.

It's a truly beautiful picture! I love how Bulk Biceps offsets it with just the right amount of contrast, and how the surroundings themselves hint at the fact that even though Bulk appears, on the outside, to be wholly manly-stallion, he's still a resident of a pastel pony world, and probably loves it there.

Wait, is Bulk Biceps his actual name? Because I've only known him from his fan-given name, which I think was something along the lines of Snowball... which totally DOES NOT FIT HIM. And that's why it's so funny.

i know he's been called like that in the episode but it's weird seeing the name off screen XD because to me he will always be "snowflake".
