Season 6, Episode 21: Every Little Thing She Does

The power! So much cheating unicorn magic power! It was pretty great to see more magic, though. Seeing Starlight going bananas with it. But the entire episode's Starlight lesson was a great angle as well. Twilight basically taking on the other side of something she's been through herself in the past. Passing on the lessons she's learned. And with a pony that has quite the magical potential as well.

There were so many little things spread throughout too, the little jokes, all the references Applejack made, and more. But for this piece, I did want to do a bit more interesting location, a bit more dynamic, a change from last week's choice. Although then I ended up thinking about this here underwater scene... Something I could practice on, which I haven't done that often before. So a fun little challenge, to balance out with my style. Thankfully this one can rely plenty on post-processing, which I find relatively easy to apply. At least in a way where it's "good" enough to look kinda like what it's supposed to look like haha.

At least I was more on focus this time, or so it seemed.

Anywho, the episode was quite enjoyable. The spells cast had some interesting effects and resulting in seeing ponies we'd otherwise probably never see them. And then I wasn't even thinking about the "magic hangover" hah.
