the word "source" depends on your perspective. personally, as the image is the same, may it be not the original source, its a source non the less. true story.

One of the official definitions of a source, and the one needed in this context, Β is "the point of origin".Β
In this case, the point of origin is the artist's (ASK's) own, original posting. It's not the fact that the image is the same, because an image downloaded on the internet is just a copy.
The fact is that the link provided in the description for this wallpaper is a dead end. It isn't a source. It goes no where. It stops at zero-chan.
Meanwhile, if the true source is provided (the pixiv link), it leads to more and more art by the artist. It may also lead to a blog, where you can find information on the artwork. And it always leads to an actual person, the artist.
There is no origin in Zero-chan, and artists like ASK do not get the recognition they deserve for an image they spent hours or days working on. This image is re-circulated, and people begin to assume that it's ok to share without proper credit. It's like... making writing the best fanfiction you've ever written and then having someone else write their name on it.
It is very important to have a source lead somewhere. People want to be known for their work.
But anyway, if this message I'm writing does nothing for you, I at least hope that you can think about this situation a bit.

why does it matter if a copy is the same? if a copy is 100% same as the original. it's the same thing.
i could say about the same to pivix. it goe's no where. it stops at pivix.
actually if you look at the top right, it says right there on the right panel, it says "Asukaziye Mangaka".
hence it's not a dead link. secondly, if you click that where it mentions Asukaziye Mangaka, it leads to more images by him
as well.

more like people recirculating it on OTHER sites with the same credit to the same artist.
this is not a situation but a concept of ideal which you must force into people's mind without their permission because you don't like what you see and must change it. and you know what i call people like that? close-minded. after all, survival of the fittest and you're not fit. not mentally.

If you do not understand this huge issue, then that's unfortunate and that's on you. But I'm not here to change people's minds, just to express my opinion as an artist.

you just did. (calling me rude in response) being rude and close-minded is 2 different thing. you can be close-minded and still be polite. and secondly, it's not an issue, as i have mentioned. it's only a issue if you make it one to be be escalating it, which you did.
