this isn't clean...this was a old vector i did. anyways, THIS ONE: is one i recently did and is really clean.

illustrator. sometimes both, with PS for post processing.

cause I'm vectoring a lot atm and I heard that Illustrator is much more recommended for vectoring stuff

yeah i use illustrator but still a beginner lol.. i started out with live paint but many people start recommending me doing it the regular way since you can use gradient while live paint was limited in that area. but, i'll be lying if i said i followed them unquestionably since i was a little stubborn but after a while i went with it. xD

basically long story short, unlike traditional bitmap images which is based on pixels, vectors can be exported to ANY resolution and still be HD and Sharp.

So that original image is a painting, perhaps, and you took it and created a VECTOR from it?
