Description A lot of people have said the Centurions and Dreadknight are among the worst, silliest kits ever made by GW.
So I decided to combine them and see what happens.

I like this version than the normal dreadknight it looks like the pilot is protected more than power armor.

Strangely this is a real improvement.

The trouble with both kits is really that they are exoskeletons for people in power/terminator armour (also known as exoskeletons), they should have been full suits.

Also, I admit due to my personal situation, I can't help but see the Dread Knight as a terminator in a baby bellypack. I know it is intended as exo-armour, but it really doesn't look like it to me.

I did a 'robot' a while back, and I've seen some ork and daemon versions (bloodletter with delusions of grandiour). These kits are not without merit.

A regular marine in a harness is more logic than a terminator for pilot Β that machine.
Great idea !

hey assberryfagot, small question. i was actualy quite inspired by your build and am currently in rougly the same conversion process (different stance, modified greatsword) and am currently waiting for the parts for the centurion to arive. i was wondering in advance, dod you do any work on the 'main' body of the dreadknight to be able to fit the centurion body in? or did it fit out of the box so to say?
secondary question, is that with or without the power pack from the centurion?

and even more importantly, leg wise, im guessing you removed the 'footrests' from the legs ment for the normal greyknight, how much clearance is there for the centurion legs? (quite important to me since im probably going to move the legs differently)

it would make me verry hapy if you can shine some light on your model ! or even if you had another picture from strange angles or something so i can start to think this stuff out before my centurion model arives

hope you can shine some light on your work!
friendly greeting from the netherlands

The Centurion fits fairly well if you discard the power pack and file down his back a little to fit in place. You can mask any gaps with the pistons pretty easily.
The footrests had to be removed, and there are no legs inside the centurion leg guards. This helped keep the profile more flat. Repositioning should be easy if you just cut the Centurion leg armor at the knees.

I look forward to your results.

I think the feet look very awkward.

You know even though I dislike both of them I actually think you managed to make something good by mixing them.

I for one like the centurions. I like their bulky silhouette. They're like the model above terminators.

I think the dread knights are far more silly...
