Apparently there has been a movement on Tumblr and Twitter against the actor Misha Collins and his character, Castiel, on Supernatural - senselessly targeting him and attempting to have him fired without just cause. This act of cyber bullying is not only disagreeable it's unethical and disgusting. Who could they think they are to have the right to determine whether a man keeps his job that he has kept in good standing for years now? What right have they do be so bold and brash?

I recently stumbled upon a clip from the 1986 movie The Adventures of Mark Twain which led me to find the full clip of it (go to 48:56) and then further still by hunting up the essay it was based from. After reading over it, I realized that he was absolutely right and that this was a perfect example of it.

Misha Collins is possibly one of the most kind hearted, hardest working people in the world and he's ridiculously sweet and hilarious. He has given an extra dynamic to the series of Supernatural and he has provided us with multiple characters wrapped into one. Then, beyond that, he helped create a Non-Profit Organization that helps make random stranger's lives better every day. This attack on his person is malicious and shows exactly how hateful humans as a race are.

So, being the masochist that I am, I decided that I wanted to draw an ode to Misha, an ode to Castiel and an ode to Mark Twain. In the end, I drew Leviathan!Castiel playing the organ from the clip that I provided you all. If the world was filled with people like Misha perhaps we wouldn't be a Damned Race.
