It's often said the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Well Nana did have good intentions in giving up her son so he could have a better life, free of the danger of her profession.
But sadly her son became just as monstrous as the people she sought to protect him from and this led to the birth of the one who would ultimately succeed her murderer as the world's Symbol of Evil.
