Some more practice using vectors. I kept the composition simple to focus more on the rendering process. Learning a lot and speeding up I guess.Vectorising is a funny process, I can't do any meaningful sketching in vector form and have to be quite clear about the whole layout before starting.

I don't see you using any gradients though. I think smooth, seamless, gradients are an amazing feature of vector artwork and -- if anything -- I would suggest you try to play around with them a bit for colouring or shading. This looks like a great tutorial for it (see from step 5): design.tutsplus.com/tutorials/…

and now that i seem to get how to do both I can combine them in my next one
