A 'repaint' I did using the Instructions for TF Universe Crystal Widow (Using the Beast Machines Black Arachnia mold) downloaded from Hasbro's official Transformers website, [link] .The last (for nor now at least) of my never-got-a-toy characters. This one is based on the Nightbird character from the G1 cartoon. She wasn't really a Transformer, but I thought what the hell, give her a TF body anyways. The BM Black Arachnia bot mode seemed ninja warrior enough to work for her, as long as you ignore all the spider ass kibble. The beast mode however...well...it'll just have to do. I clearly see the problem in naming a character "Nightbird" when it has a spider alt mode, but...*shrugs* what can ya do? Worst case scenario, it might have to have it's name changed slightly to fit the mold better. Something akin to the Shockwave-to-Shockblast name change. The point it, it was made AFTER the original Nightbird character, so I guess that's what counts?

why isnt nightbird...umm...a bird?I just dont get it is all,since many of the transformers' names apply to their alt modes (examples being Soundwave as a stereo,Jetfire is a jet,Thrust is a concept relating to jets,Rhinox was a rhinoceros,etc.).But the design in itself is pretty cool looking.I kinda wish Blackarachnia looked this cool...

Well, the original nightbird didn't transform into anything at all. But again, as i pointed out in my description, i see the flaws in giving a spider alt mode to a character named "Nightbird" but i didn't really care enough to let it stop me.
