as a PC guy, i detest consoles on the basis that they will never be as useful as the PC itself, consoles are moving outwards towards being game only to the point where you can be social on it.

ill be honest, I've held an Xbox and a PS3 controller
so far the xbox controller was a bit more comfortable
other than that, the controller are both the same thing except ps3 has a different layout of it's cross pad
