Description First there is two historical "Francisca" throwing axes and one traditional Anglo-Saxon "Skeggox" what they use in hand-to-hand combat and also as throwing weapon.

Those fantasy style steel weapons in the bottom picture are just my own thrower designs. I take some ideas from indian tomahawks, medieval "Hurlbats" and African throwing weapons and mixed them together with my own concepts. (All those objects weight about 600-1000 g.)

Joo, no olisihan se oikeastaan vähän tylsääkin tehdä ainoastaan vain tarkkoja toisintoja jostakin historiallisista malleista, joten on ihan mukava kehitellä välillä kaikenlaista omaperäisempääkin.

Yritin hakea osassa noista protyypeistäkin juuri semmoista optimimuotoa mikä jäisi mahdollisimman tehokkaasti kiinni, vaikka sen heittäisi vaikka missä eri asennossa ja eri pituisten matkojen päästä. Varsinkin tuo kierrekahvainen osoittautui tosi tarttuvaksi kapineeksi.

I LIKE THE SIMPLICITY OF THE AXES, BUT THOSE BELOW JUST LOOK PLAIN PAINFUL!

Those pointy things are indeed very powerful projectiles.

For example that dagger shaped weapon hit one time so hard in my wooden target, that i have to fetch a crowbar to get it out again.

Nasty little weapons! I love them!
