Koibumi was born to Hisona Ajio, a young woman who desperately searches for a husband. Her mother named her Koibumi in the hopes of receiving love letters in the near future. Due to her Mothers obsession with Romance and Love, she feels as though she needs to love someone romantically to be completed. Her mother often uses her to find dates and to impress others with how pretty her child looks, all of this makes Koibumi feel as if she only exists to show off her Mother's "love" and ability to make pretty children. She never understood what it means to be loved or what it means to love someone else other than what her mother talks about.

Her father is a Businessman who is currently working outside of Amaguri. Her Mother died a few years ago in a Car Crash. She's currently living with her two older sisters, Kohana and Kasumi, in their Family Home. She attends the local High School and is very popular among the boys and even some girls - But all that shadows her sometimes nasty personality. She's pretty much obsessed with Exorcising demons, ghosts, and the like. She often disregards her own safety (and that of her friends) to finish her Paranormal Investigations. She owns several Haunted Objects and does Part-Time Modeling.
