hey i'll admit i'm was a cutter and so is my girlfriend... she's gone deeper than me... which i take as a sign as her pain is deeper than mine. some say that cutting is a means of escape... some say it's a sign of crying out for help. that's why i like this pic. good job on it... i really like it. i hope that life is treatin you better. if ya ever need someone to talk to just hollar k? *hugs!*

Awwww, thank you. Yes, people can be so ignorant. Why would I do something like this for attention? I was hurting badly... And after I had already done it, I realized I could turn it into art... something positive, from my point of view. I thought maybe others could relate and find a sort of beauty in it. I didn't expect the negative and hateful reactions I got from some people... Ah well. I really appreciate all of your nice and thoughtful comments.

i'm all for visual statements. but there's a certain line you don't cross. i think it's called taste and decency.

The human body has been an art canvas for god knows how long, it's been subject to all sorts of ideas, theories, "art works", attempts to impress etc. but you have to respect, not everyone will share your idea of art, and thus it must be released into a controlled environment. not just fired onto an already known incredible art forum *gag*

Personally, I like this photo. I agree that the forearm could have been more centered, but I can see some good potential here for a fairly strong piece ifdone by the right person.
