I love all of the extreme detail you put into his scales!
It's incredible! **massages your hand for you**
And I like the combo of colors you used for the bg, they contrast very well and when coupled with the dragon's movement it makes it look very murky, watery.
**gives your tummy a rub** I hope you don't mind, but I can't help myself.

This looks amazing, The detail is just.. wow.

This is jawdropping really.

The detail in the skin is great! and the little "fins" on his arms and down he's back was such a great touch! I really love it's wings! the little bumps gives it this awesome texture!

I also really like that tail! and his face came out so well, I love his eye.. aww.. I wanna huggle-cuddle him!

I saw this over on *dholms page and just had to come and have a closer look! And I wish I could see it even closer than this so I could see more of the fantastic detail. I love the antiqued look that it has and the coloring is perfect. I'm so impressed by anyone who can do this kind of detailed work with ink. Outstanding!

ok.
so here i was. in the midst of a self imposed sabbatical from DA.
taking an occasional peak from a distant secret location. (how else would
i have seen this. duh.)
then here you come along aster,...
and WAKE ME UP!

but, if i have to be awakened, i can't think of any other way i'd rather
be than with something like THIS!
i mean, the detailed inking alone is EXCELLANT!
but the way you've added/integrated my crummy little texture is
PERFECT!
i can't think of any better purpose for it! it coexists and compliments
beautifully!
the subtle colors and 'not too busy' texture' against the incredibly
detailed rendering!
i LOVE IT!

i can't tell you how flattered and honored that you would
include my meager texture in one of your works aster.

Whoooo. Wow. The drake is an effective choice for the texture you chose -- he appears to be flying out over a beach where the sea meets land. But the drawing itself is incredible. I've always believed that detail, without the core of the drawing being sound, is useless. But match detail with a well drawn picture and you can create something amazing. You've obviously got a knack for lizards, but the realistic style, the inked in texture of his scales and wings, and the beautiful inks done by dholms in the background is just beautiful. It brings to mind all of those illustrated books of dragons, where somehow the pictures looked like ancient illustrations.

I also like the design of the drake, with the webbing and the loose folds of the wings, along with that tail.

Too good for words.
