oh gosh these are so snuggle-y ;; love how you framed the image with the soft bg and the almost sepia-toned crows in the foreground. they look so warm which is really fitting yet the area itself is cold and somehow you managed to make it not clash at all, it's so nice <3

This is just gorgeous, Lisa!
Let's start with the detail that most caught my attention: the use of anthropomorphism. While the picture itself is about a pair of regular crows, you added just the right ammount of anthropomorphism for us to connect with the two. Without it, it'd be just two animals grooming each other. Instead, we are able to feel the affection because we can understand them in human terms.
That said, dear Lord am I in love with the details in the feathers! I really can't properly put into words just how breathtaking the detailing is. I absolutely love it.
The way you combined the black crows with the white background is spectacular. Furthermore, your adding of colours like blues and browns not only give the painting a sense of depth, but it also prevents it from feeling monochrome.
