"One sentence is really enough: We Love This.
We really, really, really like how much detail it is here, and how Greta almost melts into the background and makes the drawing seem complete despite being ”a living creature”.
What we mean by details: there’s thought out details everywhere! Look at the fabric of the clothing, you can see what kin of material it is and the different textures really brings the character to life! The really beautiful yet small print on the dress, which I can assume to be lace, seems like there’s a lot of (well spent) time put there. The quantity of leaves and the shadowing of every one of them (thus, quality) is high! It makes them seem almost 3D. Also look at the berries that each and everyone of them has a light-dot!
And you cannot look at this drawing and NOT see the tree behind Greta. The lineart of it is very neat, and the tree overall is very creative with all the swirls and details. The highlighting and shadowing on the tree also makes it seem almost 3-dimensional.
And the birds: amazing!
There’s just a lot to say about this drawing that I cannot fit it all in here.
Greta: the soft hair, the expression, and the beautiful clothing (the braid stuck in the tree: another great detail right there!)
Not to mention that it’s all done by the traditional ways of drawing! Which means: no regrets allowed!
Summary: This piece is just excellent! The idea of this being made by hand with papers and pens really amazes me, because frankly speaking I’m almost unable to draw if it’s not with my dear mr. Drawing-tablet! The warm colour theme fits Greta’s personality and with the tree in the background, it really feels like nothign is missing! Big congratulations for winning this contest!"

I finally joined the contest again, oh this is very tiring with those colors. I made it hurriedly, because the deadline is so close.

well, I'll tell you a little bit. I basically like the elves, and the braided hair. The costume ..., I slightly modify, and change its color becomes brighter. about the tree, actually a form of sculpture mataram style with leaves that eventually resembles a tree. the last touch of flowers and birds, I love it XD.

Snowman Drawing Pen 0.1; Snowman Markers (24 Colors); Faber Castel Classic Colour Pencils (12 Color); Staeadtler Luna Permanent (24 Colors) and more colored pencils non aquarelle (just forget, and one of them not produced anymore >.<); Lyra Eraser for make the color effect.
