What kind of trajectory would you use for it? A boring old Jupiter gravity assist trajectory? Or would Saturn also be involved.

hmm good question, what ever is fastest really! just want to get out to it within my lifetime haha
hey, a Jupiter Uranus flyby would be really nice, though idk if the solar system is lined up for that right now. even if it is just a regular old Jupiter flyby that is fine by me, a path similar to the voyagers or Pioneer 10-11, hopefully no Venus flybys.
though, i was imagining the spacecraft to be launched in the 60s or 70s, Hopefully we would have had much faster spacecraft by then where we don't need to be cheep and use Venus so much.

Why don't you want Venus flybies?

Like the Galileo Spacecraft?

the reason why they do Venus flybys is to save on fuel and use Venus for gravity assists. though this takes a lot more time. it is the cheep way of doing it all. i dont feel like waiting 20 years to get to Haumea haha

it took Cassini 7 years to get to Saturn with the Venus gravity assist method. but Pioneer 11 and Voyager took only 3 years to get to Saturn using a direct path. in 2060s i really hope we aren't that cheep.

Maybe just one Earth? Venus could be saved for Mercury and Mars missions.

maybe, ? it was sorta meant to be a cubesat kinda thing too. ultra lightweight, one of like 10 spacecraft being sent to different places in the solar system as quick as possible. idk man its the future, enjoy the possibility ^^

OK. Maybe a Cubesat as a get-to-know-you think, then follow it up with another probe in the future?

i don't see why not = ) i never really put much thought into the probe haha

Why not a Sedna-Quaoar flyby probe? Trajectory could probably be Earth-Jupiter-Quaoar-Sedna, given the right launch year.

Yes... well, not me.. some weird kid shows up at my door in a ridiculous shiny outfit and tells me he is my grandson or something, he always gives me these really cool photos on what looks like really old flash drives... i don't know who this kid is, but these pictures are rather convincing to me..
He tells me i have to post them as if i made them as artwork so we don't end up making a time paradox or something like that.

Oh, he also tells me not to tell anybody, but pfft, he is probably just a kid in town with a crazy imagination. xD you know how kids are.

Haumea is about as wide as Pluto, but much thinner and shorter due to it spinning so fast! = )

Me too... there is nothing like seeing the beauty of the true universe with your own eyes.. i can only create a glimpse of the feeling of awe, my art is really just a cry of desperation wanting to see what is truly out there. so close, yet so far.
