Description
A photograph I took last year while feeding a group of wild turtles. It's in the abstract category because at first glance it looks nothing like an animal, something I was glad to achieve
Species: African Softshell Turtle (Trionyx triunguis)
Location: Köyceğiz River, Dalyan, Turkey
Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ45
No editing except for cropping, a minor contrast change and a border.

My super leet quick skills The Köyceğiz River is very placid despite a lot of boat activity, and I was on some decking that hung over the river's edge. The turtles were able to swim to my feet and be fed easily, they could just pop their heads out of the water and we could throw bread and meat to them. There were water snakes too but dem buggers be fast, I couldn't get a decent photo.
