Description I don't usually post this stuff since most of my sketch dump type stuff is pretty rough and literally very sketchy ... I've started sketching every night though to help get used to drawing people (I still need a lot of work there) and with faces being one of the more difficult things I've been trying to practice drawing facial features.. eyes in particular are difficult for me because I struggle drawing to the left.

These aren't perfect by any means, but they were good practice and fun.
Please let me know if you're interested in seeing more of these sketch dumps in the future or not because I'd rather not upload them if you guys don't want to see them

I would like to see these more! I should start sketching, too. I'm so bad at drawing facial expressions... x'D

The best way to get better at something you have difficulty with is by practicing
I'll be focusing on different facial features until I feel more comfortable with them, and then I'll probably move on to hands and feet, and then see where things take me .. foreshortening maybe etc..

That's true!
I have been having a hard time with eyes, hands and feet. :/

Struggle drawing to the left? As in, drawing things facing to the left?
ME TOO!

Both!  My wrist is used to swooping in towards my arm, not away from it.. so that movement (going left) feels completely unnatural and incredibly stiff as a result.  I think I need to sit down and do some sketching just towards the left to get my wrist more comfortable with it.

Ah, okay. Mine is more of a "my brain is weird" thing xD I've just always drawn horses facing to the left of the page (or canvas) and so as a result it's weird painting them facing to the left

Yeah, that's where my problem comes from too, but now that I am used to drawing and can easily spit out little doodles etc.. I notice that the biggest problem drawing the other direction is that my wrist is stiff.

Give it a try and pay attention to how your wrist moves..
does it feel stiff?  Does it feel like you have to overthink simple movements?  Do your lines look more wobbly and unstable?  It's all just your wrist saying WTF ARE WE DOING!???

I gave it a go!
It wasn't my hand getting stiff, it's just a mental thing for me x3 Have you previously had problems with your hands before? I can remember someone saying that they were having problems with their hands but I can't remember now
