Description
Was having a strange day today and all the little things were setting me off and making me overly irritable.. so instead of working on commissions tonight.. I finished up this piece.

I will likely have to visit and remake this piece again in a few years, to see progress...

It's one of my most popular deviations.. perhaps because it shows up in the popular search for Stag.
I'd originally wanted to go with the blue background for the new piece, but felt a warmer color was more suitable during last minute touch ups.

No proper references to credit since I used my old drawing as a reference and googled numerous deer to have a better understanding of their anatomy (yeah.. I feel really lost drawing deer!)
