so... I feel like I've become a bit too reliant on working with lined art and I'd also like to just be able to take that step out of my work all together anyway... er.. yeah.. so no lines, just sketch and color w00t!My new girl Peal was brave enough to be a guineapig for me not only for the lack of lines, but for more proper shading and my first attempt at trying the hair brushes I downloaded a few years back already D:
Anyway, it's not as perfect as I'd like it to be but baby steps in that direction... hope you all enjoy, any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I know what that feeling is like - I've only just stepped into that lineless art too. It gets easier though. I think the only feedback I could offer is that the checkers prolly need to be a bit more squished to match the angle of the view of Peal. I like the depth of the tail at the top, but it kinda fizzles out?
But seriousness, it is a fantastic start. Altogether better than mine, and you can see you've got a great understanding of anatomy with your shading.
