D. Not even a choice, A is probably physical aptitude, B is being vassal of Mammon, C is the kind of reputation one does not want and E is a waste. D not only brings the "magic improves all things" boon but it also antagonizes the Church, which is the true evil in pretty much all universes, so easy choice.
