Description
This is a reference i did of my Scorched Wings character, Basilisk. I completely redesigned him, so he looks very different from the last time I drew him. I will eventually do redesigns for the other two main characters, Secretseer and Foxglove, but at a later time.

Basilisk is the only son of two high ranking members of the SandWing guard, Sandwasp and Sagebrush. Basilisk's life was planned out for him, but he didn't want it. So, he ran away with some help from friends. He fled to the Scorpion Den. After a few months of hiding from the large search parties for him, he was found by Venom. Venom essentially adopted him and accepted him into the Serpent House. Basilisk became very close with the other dragonets, mostly Diamond and Rattle.

A few years later, Basilisk left the Serpent House base in the Scorpion Den to explore the world. He started to steal in order to survive, but felt guilty for stealing from those who struggled to survive. He started to steal from higher ranking people, before moving up to stealing from even the Queens. He sold or kept what he needed, and gave away what he did, almost like a Robin Hood. of course, this led him to be very wanted by all of the Kingdoms.

The next place that Basilisk plans to hit is the SkyWing Palace, mostly because he heard rumors of a mysterious artifact lost to time within the SkyWing Treasuries. This is where the story of Scorched Wings begins.
