The cat looks so real in this picture! I like how you drew the blanket, though, too. It's clear that you put a lot of time into that. The folds and stitching are really imrpessive!

Same -- I absolutely adore cats! Only problem is, I can't have one living with me because my mother and brother are both allergic, my father isn't to fond of them, and we've got to dogs who go mad whenever they see a cat (well, one of them does, and she works the other up) ... so, my chances of bringing a cat into the family are slim.

I also love dogs, I used to breed silky terriers but I now live in a unit, too small for dogs and cats. I just love animals, had a rabbit for a while too.

thanks, but it definitely is a pastel painting. Over the years the local contemporary art section have been critical of some of my work because it does look photographic. Each to their own. I do work from photos, as animals wont keep still, so thats probably the reason.
