I think it's a fuse of Celestia, Luna and Cadnace. If you see, it has Luna's face, one of celestias front hooves and one of cadance's back hooves.

It clearly states in the fanfic evidence of the cloaked figure being Cadence.
for example:

This is referring to her being trapped in the crystal caves in season 2 episodes 25 and 26.

i like to look at the pictures and predict what will happen in the stories before actually reading. that's my favorite reading technique.

To be totally honest, TP is writing the story by merely looking at these pictures as well. You're probably better off not trying to predict what'll happen in the story by using the pictures.

Yeah, I was pretty sure it was Cadance, I still think it IS her. But reading the Fanfic I began to think it's more complicated. Sometimes She appear to be powerfull and able to sneak and maybe practice magic easily. Sometime she appear a bit weak and agressive.
This is my own hint, and it is totally CRAZY but I think they are two Masquerader. Cadance and Chrysalis that had joined forces to defeat Twilight and restore their both kingdoms.
What do you think about that ?

nope. It's just Cadence. Chrysalis is dead. Her drones belong to featherweight. Just ONE Arpeggio. ONE. Cadance is an alicorn. Cadence has a lot of magic. Cadence has bei=come brutally effective in order to survive. Chrysalis is dead.

Yeaah, It's just a fantasy of mine. But in the latest chapter she appear rather different.
I'm pretty sure that is only Cadence, but you can't just say Chrysalis is dead. After all Snails, Fluttershy, Sweetie Belle, Pinkie Pie?, How many characters has been thougth dead but finally were not ? (Why am I using this fck*ng past perfect, I can't handle it. Is that sentence mean something ?)
I still think it would be awesome if Chrysalis were still alive.

Omg IT'S DIAMOND TIARA!! Think about it she's the only one with that light pink fur or skin or whatever! And this just seems like her. If not its probably princess skyla or cadence. I would like to see diamond tiara on the lower level for once in her life though. Like dinky doo gets revenge on her for teasing her when they were longer and makes her her slave

The pony is a proxy. They are secretly working for Spike who has grown to giant proportions and is amassing his own forces to try and stop Twilight for what he sees as being for her own good. He would be too recognizable on his own and therefore would need to stay in the background until he is ready for the final battle to reclaim Equestria.

I'm thinking it's a fusion of Luna and Celestia as well. Perhaps a byproduct of Queen Twilight's takeover. Or it could be their own doing. After all one pony is easy to miss, but two alicorns are going to draw attention.

there are two options....it is luna,fleur de lis or celestia.
why? because if it was pinkie, there would be an actual hint that it was her,like a part of her tail actually visible under the cloak.
and,the cloak wouldnt look like if it is covering a horn,it would be flat.
