After months of aimless wandering and days of wishing for death Mars has found some semblance of peace and routine in her life again. All thanks to the shoves from her friend Ophelia and now apprentice Leeland. When she was ready to give everything up they kept pushing her, telling her she was needed and reminding her of her unique skill set. It was originally Leelands idea for them to find a forge again and while Mars wasn't exactly enthusiastic about it she went along with him, seeing that his path and passion required her teaching. So, they found a nice large rock formation on the borders of Shadow empire, close to the empire that Ophelia had settled in. Over the next few weeks Mars and Leeland worked day and night to convert it into a working forge. They worked on collecting materials and eve returned breifly to the destroyed Fire empire camp to attempt to retrieve some of Mars' old equipment.

Now, Mars works as an artisan for the rogues and wandering cats of the wilderness. Taking their orders and payments in trades for materials. Providing protection against the hunters that would prey upon a lone cat in the wild. Perhaps she might even get an empire visitor or two. Requesting some of her work.

This knowledge and purpose has helped Mars work through her loss. The world around her is brighter again. She doesn't feel as though she has been abandoned by the loss of her family. Instead they are there with her. Supporting her and wishing her well. Keeping watch over her till the day she is able to see them again. While this might not taken away all her pain and struggles. She still has days where she can't even get up from her nest as the weight of pain and sadness crushes her but there are always days to look forward too. Not every day will be a good one. She just has to live for the few good moments in between.

UGH FINALLY! I finally get to see one of my fav girls smile again. After all the heart ache and depressing pics. She gets to have a little light.

Things will never be easy for her. The world will feel like it's crushing her but this world is hers. The one she chose and the one she lives in. There will always been good moments for her to look forward too.
