Delphi was born in a quiet seaside village, her mother was a retired hunter who settled in the village and her father was a local fisherman.

Her mother was killed during a monster attack when she was too young to remember, as such she was essentially raised by her father.

Despite her fathers attempts to raise his child with a wariness of monsters and be aware of their danger, the lonely child found a connection in the monsters she encountered. Much to her fathers horror she started bringing back abandoned babies or injured monsters home.

Even as she grew she ignored her fathers insistent warnings to stay far away from monsters, but Delphi found herself more and more drawn to them. Reading her mothers journals and beginning to document her own encounters with various critters both up close and from afar.

She quickly grew bored of her small corner of the world, so knowing that her father would never allow it, she left quietly in the night with her Palamute Mynto as her companion.

Eventually her travels brought her to Setano village where she continues her journey, intending to eventually meet every monster ever recorded and maybe find some new ones along the way.
