Man, you're really good at paintings... where to pick-up the skill/talent for amateurs like me?

Awesome.
I wish I could say something more than that, but that's impossible at the moment.

Kind of reminds me of that one anime, Air Gear. Aah flying through the air using skates...

I can vouch for Dre on this one -- he knows of Air Gear, but only found out about it after the fact. The image might be similar, but Groove Junction itself is not.

Oh, I didn't mean to sound like I was accusing XD; It looks more like a natural skating scene rather than anti-gravity skating of Air Gear.

Oh, I didn't think you were accusing him of anything, but after he found out about Air Gear, he wondered if there may be some confusion at times.

Nice work there.
Why's it called freerun though, he has blades on.

Gorgeous, the sketchy style and watery background really make for a charming comic piece. Congrats on the DD, well deserved.

I wish I had the courage to actually do that, and I hope I can one day at least through my art. =3 Very nice! Your cityscapes are amazing, even through the whole book! I should take a lesson from you and try to draw city scapes into sketches more. *nod*

everytime i see a city scene i think i will like, i save it on my hardrive and print it out. Later, I sketch it out using the photo as reference. Then I can pretty much lightbox my sketch into my drawings when i want!

I was thinking of using my lightbox with a good photo for a sketch of Sam with a bg that I thought of. We'll see what I find. X3

He's not running! I'd class it more as "FreeSkate!" than "Freerun"!
Yeah, so i'm a Parkour nerd, sue me.
(I'm hoping to start working on a Freerunning/Parkour based comic sometime soon actually, so yeah haha.)

Dude, i love the whole thing, Parkour, Free Running, the whole idea and philosophy behind it and everything, i did some around my old city, real simple stuff, but i'm not really adventerous enough to do it where i am now, haha.

anything is possible in photoshop! I scanned in my watercolor textures separately and then added some photoshop coloring and stuff.

Awesome work, Sir. However, is that horizontal line intentional?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
astrobrain In reply to onegemini [2007-03-14 14:16:10 +0000 UTC]
it is intentional, you know just trying to be a little designy, but i dont know how successful it was.
i also fixed that hand behind him.
